3. Paine’s Park Opening
The long awaited grand opening of Franklin’s Paine Skatepark finally took place on Wednesday, May 22nd, 2013. Hosted by the city of Philadelphia the grand opening included a DJ, food trucks by Rita’s, Guapos Tacos and La Colombe, as well as a demo by pro skaters including Chris Cole, Kerry Getz and Tom Asta.
