1. The highlight of the year for me was that I got picked up by Globe shoes and probably just the fact that I rode my bike a lot more then I did last year. Mainly just being with my best friends and having as much fun as possible.

2. I did travel in 2013, I went to NY, Virginia, North Carolina, Washington DC, Maryland, I know it’s not traveling but PHILADELPHIA!!

3. Man this is a hard question there was so many crazy video parts in 2103 but if I had to choose there would be a few so for one I’d have to say Garret and JJ’s parts in the Deadline video. That whole video blew my mind but those two stuck out the most. JJ doing it for Philly! Second I’d have to say Rob Wise’s part in the Markit video that dude is unreal..

4. Honestly there wasn’t too many bad parts of 2013 in BMX for me. I’d have to say probably my truck shitting the bed on me. That made it harder getting around but luckily I have good friends. The worst part of 2013 was breaking my wrist in January and then gashing my leg open about a month later having to get 24 stitches which sucked pretty bad. Other then them three things 2013 has been good to me.

5. In 2014 I am looking forward to traveling more, spending time with my friends, making new friends, hopefully putting out a video part, and getting a new truck. Also I’d like to give a huge thank you to my family, friends, sponsor, my bike, Philly, and most of all for BMX in general for giving me so many opportunities in life. Also shout out to Mike Purcell (Purcey) for being such a huge supporter of BMX and giving me the chance to be part of this Q&A.

1. As soon as summer began, we immediately started filming for just another web video, but by the time July came around, I was off to San Diego for X-Games in LA which was so awesome. So many big names in the industry were there killin’ it. I came back from San Diego and went off to spend a week at Woodward East. My week at Woodward was easily the highlight of my year. We had such a heavy crew and it was just laughs all week long and I would easily go back and do it all over again. I came home with some heavy footage and approximately 20 more Instagram followers haha. Too many names to mention but shout out to my favorite South Jersey kid, Joe Chandler. Y’all are rad!

2. A real old friend of mine, Anthony Roberto, moved to Richmond, VA my freshman year of high school so me and Eeshond made a trip down there right after we came back from Woodward. The weather down there was relentless; I vividly remember having difficulty breathing because it was so damn humid. Despite that, Eeshond and I met a Richmond local, Tanner Vannhuizen, that Anthony had befriended after he moved down there. He and Anthony showed us around to some fire spots that me and Eeshond were psyched on. I love it down there, cops didn’t even care that we were riding and basically every store shuts down after 10PM so the night riding was prime.

3. That’s a tough one. So many dudes came out with heavy footage this year. BMX has progressed so much in a year. However, I’m going to have to say Dehart’s Talk Is Cheap part is my favorite video that came out this year. I’ve always loved his style and his song fit so perfectly with the riding. Navaz did an outstanding job on his part, as well the DVD in general. I had TIC on repeat in my Xbox for months haha cheers.

4. Well as per every East Coast rider I think we can almost unanimously agree that winter just sucks. We had a lot complications because of winter and progress on the DVD right now has slowed down and we’re all congregating at the nearby indoor parks until March when it warms up. It definitely sucks but sometimes you just gotta throw on two sweatshirts and get out there just to keep the clips coming in.

5. We’re really trying to travel a lot more this coming year. For the most part, we’ve been confined to local spots on the weekdays and Philly on the weekends. I decided to stop being a bum and get my license back in early November so I’m really trying to plan quite a few trips for the crew in the future before the DVD deadline in August. We’ve been riding in Matt Loughead and Shilo Staniech’s vans on day trips, which was still really fun; but it’s even better now that I can drive even more dudes as well. I might meet up with a few Woodward homies in the spring as well, but we’ll see how the DVD comes along!

1. The highlight of the year for me would be getting my brother back home safe and sound after spending two years in state prison.

2. No. I pretty much kept it to local spots only this year. Maybe next year I’ll get some road time in but for now it’s local street spots only.

3. Chocolate Truck hands down. I’ve watched those kids over time and always knew they could accomplish big things and the video nearly stealing a Nora Cup win speaking volumes.

4. The low point of this past year has definitely been the disappearance of Brian Histand. He is a great guy and an amazing bike rider and we are all hoping for his safe return.

5. Just another year of running Ride PA BMX and hopefully putting something together this Spring / Summer to get us all together and pedaling.

1. Getting my clothing in New York Urban.

2. Slacked on riding but The Guerrilla Warfare jam was a fun time and ride.

3. Favorite video the Deadline joint.

4. Low point, missed some opportunities with a suspended license.

5. For 2014, car, clothes in new stores and license back.
