2019 has been a milestone year for Posh Woods, which has been celebrating twenty-five years of BMX rad-ness! It’s hard to imagine a set of BMX trails lasting a quarter of a century, but on Saturday, August 31st, Posh Woods hosted a 25th Birthday Jam and 4th Annual High Air Comp. Kyle Dipilla made the trip out to these legendary trails in Bethlehem, PA, and shot a gallery of photos for us, which you can view after the jump.
For the last year, Chase Bucci has been spending time between Pittsburgh, PA, and Huntington, WV filming up and down the East Coast with friends and stacking footage. Today we are proud to present this exclusive web video composed of a year’s worth of riding from Chase that was filmed and edited by Brandon Kline with additional filming by Gremlin, Tony Cherry, Zach Bearly, Brad Gibbs, Tyler Cranmer, and Chris Huckaby. Don’t forget to stop by our YouTube channel and subscribe for more videos.
2018 was a wet one. Record-setting rainfall levels for almost the entire trail season had left trail locals all over the northeast feeling a bit bewildered, and frankly, pretty frustrated. Fortunately, the jams we host at Posh and Catty are a catalyst for great times no matter what the weather throws at us. When there is a small army of visiting trail shredders eager to get the trails running by any means necessary, the trails are likely going to run in any weather short of a Category 4 hurricane!
“Our 4th annual GrindWorks BMX Pittsburgh Street Jam went down July 13th, 2019 and was a huge success! Thanks to all who made it out to ride, to all the sponsors, and everyone who supports the Pittsburgh scene; we couldn’t do it without you!”
“The YouTube version is here, but you can check it out in our classic format on Vimeo after the jump, along with a list of jam sponsors! Stay tuned for the Binghamton Jam…” – Andrew Vargason
The GrindWorks BMX Jams, both the Pittsburgh Street Jam and the Binghamton Jam, are in their third year running as sister-jams. Both take place at the same time of year, typically only weeks apart, and share organizers, sponsors, and prizes. Being 300 miles apart, it’s also interesting that they share a lot of the same riders.
On April 20th, 2019, the first stop of the FBM X DIG D.I.Y. World Championship was held at the Lost Bowl in Richmond, Virginia. Ride PA BMX contributing photographer Kyle Dipilla loaded up his gear and drove out for a weekend of second-hand smoke and BMX madness. You can view the complete gallery of photos after the jump. Kyle did a great job capturing the atmosphere of the event and some pretty choice riding photos as well. Don’t forget to follow Kyle on Instagram for more photography.
Jess Grinager has uploaded a new video to his YouTube channel from the 2019 Florideah Swampfest. The video is full of highlights, crashes, and a taste of some of the overall madness that is Swampfest! Jess did a great job documenting the event and editing this video. There has been a lot of Swampfest videos turning up online this week, but you won’t want to let this one slip by you. Don’t forget to subscribe to Jess’s YouTube channel for more.

As we count down the final hours of 2018, it’s time once again for our annual year-end list of the top videos from the past year. Take a look back with us at some of the videos that we felt made the strongest impression on our viewers and the scene as a whole. The list is in no particular order and is not based on any web statistics or analytics. Simply put, there are no winners or losers. With that in mind, we invite you to sit back, re-watch and enjoy.
In August we exclusively premiered Adem Gunaydin’s ‘Welcome To Legend Bikes USA‘ video here on the site. Adem’s inaugural video is packed from start to finish with solid riding and jaw-dropping bangers. The video was filmed and edited by Nick Elison with additional filming provided by Chris Girouard. Adem is currently recovering from knee surgery he had earlier in the year, and we hope to see him back on his bike in 2019!
Evan Yoh and Ryan Niranonta just dropped a little something, something online while we anticipate the release of ‘Chocolate Truck 2’. The video includes footage of Ryan filmed by Evan over the course of the last three years with a few clips of Ryan’s older brother Joe thrown in the mix.
