Featured Photo: Jeff Purdy

Our ‘Featured Photo’ this week is a double dose of Jeff Purdy getting rad at the O’Hara Trails in Delaware County, PA. The first photo showcases Jeff properly dipping a Toboggan over a set and the second is a classic (and personal favorite) One Handed Tabletop. Both photos were shot by Brendan Mulrooney during a session at the trails last week.

If you haven’t been paying attention, Jeff was recently picked up by both GT Bikes and The Daily Grind and is currently heavily involved in filming for Stink Pit 5 and the L.O.W. BMX video. Brendan Mulrooney has also just started up an Instagram account for his photography which you can follow by clicking here.

The video was filmed around Pennsylvania, Maryland and Michigan over the last year whenever the pairs paths would cross. Carl recently moved back to his hometown and Rainer has spent the last year traveling around the country. There’s also a few older clips thrown in the mix but the edit delivers with solid lines, precision rail moves and bangers.

Catty Woods Halloween Jam

The annual Catty Woods Halloween Jam will be held on Saturday, October 14th. The event will be hosted earlier this year in an attempt to avoid any inclement weather and allow for a rain date as a safety net. As a result of the weather through out the season, Catty and Posh have struggled to raise the money needed to secure the trails insurance. You can always donate to helping keep these legendary trails alive and running by clicking here.

Catty and Posh have also opened up an online store and are having a sale on their new line of soft goods which includes both short and long sleeve shirts as well as hats.

Steve Tassone | JIB: Tape #4

The seventh section from “JIB: Tape #4” featuring Steve Tassone was uploaded to the JIB Vimeo account earlier today. Steve’s section has a really good vibe to it and is primarily composed of quick one hit clips with a few lines mixed throughout. Steve has a keen eye for spots and the ability to make riding the roughest of setups look smooth. The section closes out with a secession of clips all worthy of being the ender that will surely leave you itching to pedal.
