Matt Smith at The Yea was hard at work during the winter months refining three new and improved versions of The Yea’s Ledge Dressing. These new handmade waxes are now available for purchase through The Yea’s website. To coincide with their availability, The Yea have also released a promotional video. The video not only showcases these new waxes, but also features riding from Marc Sechrist, Matt Smith, Angus Tuttle, Shilo Staniech, Eeshond Kirk, Matt Loughead, and Ryan Muschlitz putting the goods to the test. OTP (Outside The Philth) released their latest video online earlier today featuring Eeshond Kirk. The video has been in the works for quite some time now with some of the footage spanning years of riding. Despite all that wait, the video doesn’t fail to deliver by any means. Eeshond comes through with a barrage of big handrail moves on some really wild setups that are sure to get you pumped to get out and pedal. Make sure you hit play and check this one out.
Zach Bearley 2017
Zach Bearley uploaded his latest edit to YouTube earlier this evening and it’s one of the better edits we’ve seen so far this year. The video was filmed over the past year by Zach’s friends and edited by himself. Zach has a great style and there’s some really solid riding in this one including a barspin to x-up ride to tailwhip that really stood out along with a number of other tricks. The Yea β Standard Def 7
The Yea have just released a new edit titled “Standard Def 7” which serves as a follow up to their previous “Standard Def 6” which dropped online nearly a year ago. “Standard Def 7” was filmed during the winter of 2016 and features riding from Matt Smith and Angus Tuttle with filming and editing provided by Matt Smith, and additional filming by Marc Sechrist and Josh Hymans.
Action Wheels Bike Shop
Our good friend Scott Effting, who is an admin for us and also heads 2Dodgy, recently took over ownership of Action Wheels Bike Shop in Bethlehem. With Scott at the helm, the shop has already rolled out a new website and is holding a big “Spring Fever” sale April 24th through the 29th in addition to hosting the third annual “Hosed Jam” at the Bethlehem Skateplaza on May 21st. You can expect a lot of big things out of Scott and Action Wheels in the future and we want to wish him and the shop continued success. It’s hard to believe that six years have passed since the release of Orchid Footwear’s final full-length DVD, “Footwork”. The video was originally released and premiered on April 9th, 2011 and was later released online in it’s entirety in February of 2012. The DVD was filmed around Eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey by Ryan Navazio with editing by Derek Adams and visual effects provided by Josh Clancy. The video features riding from Brian Hunt, Wiz, Brian Histand, Dave Krone, Micky Marshall, Dan Conway, Randy Brown, Van Homan, Niki Croft, and friends.
JIB: Tape #4
The full length release of JIB: Tape #4 premiered yesterday afternoon exclusively on the Ride BMX website. The video, which was released and premiered back in January, was filmed and edited by Jon Schimpf, who is also the subject of the latest ‘Top Threes’ segment on the Ride BMX website. JIB: Tape: #4 features sections from Pat Schlitzer, Nick Bott, Jon Schimpf, Steve Tassone, and Joby Suender along with sections from Chocolate Truck, Stink Pit, and A-Town Trash. OTP: Winter Woodwardland 2017
Some of the Outside The Philth crew recently took a winter trip out to Woodward for a weekend which resulted in this quick edit. Filmed and edited by Buck Milliken, the video features riding from Cam Rusnak, Jeremy Thomas, and Jason Gaydos. Although the video is under a minute and thirty seconds long it’s filled with some really solid moves. OTP has also nearly completed their upcoming street mix which should be out soon. The 2017 Winter Welcome Jam was held this past weekend at The Wheel Mill in Pittsburgh. Three videos from the event have surfaced online each in a different format. The first video which you can view above was filmed and edited by Brant Moore with additional filming by Owen Dugan. The second video which you can view after the jump, is a raw video that was filmed and edited by Matt Hovermale. And the third video which can also be viewed after the jump, is a vlog filmed and edited by Connor Thompson. All three of the videos are full of insane riding and do a great job showcasing the atmosphere of the event as well.

The 2017 Winter Welcome Jam was held this past weekend (Saturday, February 25th) at The Wheel Mill in Pittsburgh, PA. The jam, which is an annual event and is spearheaded by Michael Potoczny and Mark Potoczny brings together both live music and BMX riders from all across the state of Pennsylvania and beyond for a day of great tunes, good vibes and riding.
