After over a year of travel restrictions and social distancing, the GT BMX crew got together for a four-day stay at Camp Woodward in Pennsylvania. Brian Kachinsky, Dan Conway, Demarcus Paul, Jeff Purdy, Julian Molina, Chelsea Wolfe, and Mason Ritter managed to turn out a twenty-three-minute video full of solid riding and great vibes.

‘Mad Mike’ with the help and support of GT hosted a jam at Mike’s unique DIY compound located in an ice rink in Weatherly, PA on Sunday, October 13th. GT team riders Brian Kachinsky, Dan Conway, Mason Ritter, Parker Heath, and Jeff Purdy were also in attendance. DIG and Our BMX have both released videos from the event on their respective websites. At the end of the jam, Ben Ward announced that Mike has been bumped up to the GT pro team. Congrats to Mike! No one deserves it more.

As we count down the final hours of 2018, it’s time once again for our annual year-end list of the top videos from the past year. Take a look back with us at some of the videos that we felt made the strongest impression on our viewers and the scene as a whole. The list is in no particular order and is not based on any web statistics or analytics. Simply put, there are no winners or losers. With that in mind, we invite you to sit back, re-watch and enjoy.

In August we exclusively premiered Adem Gunaydin’s ‘Welcome To Legend Bikes USA‘ video here on the site. Adem’s inaugural video is packed from start to finish with solid riding and jaw-dropping bangers. The video was filmed and edited by Nick Elison with additional filming provided by Chris Girouard. Adem is currently recovering from knee surgery he had earlier in the year, and we hope to see him back on his bike in 2019!
Ride PA BMX – Issue Two is now available for purchase through our online store. Issue Two consists of sixty-four, full color, gloss pages of original content spanning the summer of 2017 through the winter of 2018. Issue Two includes a free two-sided 11″x17″ folded poster featuring Brain Foster and Jeff Purdy. Supplies are limited. A second run of the zine will be available in a few weeks and a digital version will be available online free after the second run is sold out. The fifth annual Winter Welcome Jam is going down at The Wheel Mill on Saturday, February, 24th. The Wheel Mill will also be hosting the second stop of Van Homan and Brian Kachinsky’s Uncovered BMX contest on Sunday, February, 25th in The Wheel Mill’s new street section. The first stop of the ‘Uncovered BMX’ contest series took place on Saturday, January 20th, at the Charm City Skatepark Mason Dixon location in Rising Sun, Maryland. The AM-based contest, which was created by Van Homan and Brian Kachinsky, will include three stops throughout the Northeast and Midwest U.S. including a stop next month at The Wheel Mill and a final stop in March at the Four Seasons Skatepark. Congratulations to ‘Mad’ Mike Guth for taking home the win at the first stop and making Pennsylvania proud.
DIG BMX has released a new installment in their ‘In The Cut’ series from the Mason Dixon skatepark stop of the series as well as an interview with Van & Brian focused on the series conducted by Rob Dolecki. Ride BMX has also released a video showcasing a dozen bangers from the Mason Dixon stop of the series. You can watch both videos after the jump.
