This time around, the video is composed of all the bangers that went down over the course of the weekend. Once again, a big round of thanks to Jess Grinager, Tasha Lindemann and Taryn Hipp for their help in staging, organizing, and providing us with coverage from the event. We’ll be looking forward to next year. Click play and check it out!

The 2nd Annual Women’s Weekend in the Woods took place September 22 and 23rd in the woods of Pennsylvania. A simple idea that came together during the cold Northeast winter months last year has proven to be a success yet again. With the support of our jam sponsor T1 and all of the companies that sponsor the trails including S&M, Fit, and Empire BMX, we were able to give women a weekend to come ride trails knowing the woods would be full of other girls. With more women coming out to ride the trails this year than last, it was an awesome weekend where riders of all ages and skill levels could come together to enjoy riding bikes & roasting jumps.

Women’s Weekend in the Woods is a low-key, low-pressure event where girls can come and ride Catty and Posh Woods, two legendary trails spots within driving distance of one another. There are no contests, no clinics, no rules. Just come hang out in the woods and get stoked on trails. Women brought their families, their dogs, their infectious positive energy and for two days nothing mattered but BMX.

Friendships that were created last year grew stronger this year, as women from all over the world came to ride, many of which were jumping higher and going faster than they had last year. There were also women there who had never ridden BMX before but wanted to try it & Women’s Weekend in the Woods provides that safe and supportive environment to send it for the very first time. I am forever grateful for the women’s BMX community and the locals who came together to make this event happen as well as everyone who supports Catty and Posh all year round. See ya in the woods!

Catty Woods Halloween Jam 2017

The Catty Woods annual Halloween Jam came a little early this year in a successful effort to combat some of the fall weather conditions that have effected the jam in years past. The jam was held on Saturday, October 14th, and thanks to near perfect weather, yielded one of the events biggest turnouts to date. Yesterday, on the heels of “Stranger Things” weekend, a “Stranger Things” themed video from the jam surfaced online through the PA Woods website. The video contains nearly four minutes of footage from the jam and also provides some additional footage from the Swantz Best Trick Contest.

The annual Catty Woods Halloween Jam was held on Saturday, October 14th, in the woods of Catasauqua, Pennsylvania. Following in last years footsteps, the Swantz Trick Jump Contest returned for it’s second year and was one of many highlights from the jam. Chris Bird was on hand and documented the action from sidelines of the 2nd Annual Swantz Trick Jump Contest which included a softer landing this year. Click play and check out all the mayhem. Spotted on the Can You Dig It website.

Catty Woods Halloween Jam

The annual Catty Woods Halloween Jam will be held on Saturday, October 14th. The event will be hosted earlier this year in an attempt to avoid any inclement weather and allow for a rain date as a safety net. As a result of the weather through out the season, Catty and Posh have struggled to raise the money needed to secure the trails insurance. You can always donate to helping keep these legendary trails alive and running by clicking here.

Catty and Posh have also opened up an online store and are having a sale on their new line of soft goods which includes both short and long sleeve shirts as well as hats.

The annual Catty Woods 4th of July Jam was held on Tuesday, July 4th. Some inclement weather over the weekend threatened the jam but the locals prevailed in having the trails ready to roll in time. Some of the FBM crew was on hand for the event and a gallery of photos shot by Steve Crandall and Ryan Hoey has been uploaded to the FBM website. You can view the complete gallery of photos which includes some shots of the locals custom FBM and Steadfast builds, after the jump.
