Jibs For Jon: Fundraiser & Jam Video

Last Saturday, the local BMX community gathered to support Jon Schimpf at the Jibs for Jon Fundraiser and Jam at the 9th & Poplar DIY in Philadelphia. The event generated money for Jon’s recovery from a traumatic brain injury he recently sustained with support from the BMX industry, friends, family, and riders from all over.

Chocolate Truck At Paines Park

Evan Yoh was on hand to capture the session and also handled the videos editing which includes riding from Joby Suender, Steve Tassone, Herman McCracken, Jon Schimpf, Joe & Ryan Niranonta along with Nick Barrett who is back in Philadelphia after spending a few months in the Southwest.

Steve Tassone | JIB: Tape #4

The seventh section from “JIB: Tape #4” featuring Steve Tassone was uploaded to the JIB Vimeo account earlier today. Steve’s section has a really good vibe to it and is primarily composed of quick one hit clips with a few lines mixed throughout. Steve has a keen eye for spots and the ability to make riding the roughest of setups look smooth. The section closes out with a secession of clips all worthy of being the ender that will surely leave you itching to pedal.

Jon Schimpf | JIB: Tape #4

The fifth section from “JIB: Tape #4” featuring Jon Schimpf was uploaded to the JIB Vimeo account earlier today. Jon’s section clocks in around two and a half minutes in duration and serves as a great middle point for the video. Jon’s section also delivers some of the videos most creative, and outside the box street riding along with an ender will keep your head spinning for sure. Be on the lookout for more sections from “Jib: Tape #4” right here as they are released online.
