As we count down the final hours of 2018, it’s time once again for our annual year-end list of the top videos from the past year. Take a look back with us at some of the videos that we felt made the strongest impression on our viewers and the scene as a whole. The list is in no particular order and is not based on any web statistics or analytics. Simply put, there are no winners or losers. With that in mind, we invite you to sit back, re-watch and enjoy.

1. Adem Gunaydin – Welcome To Legend Bikes USA

In August we exclusively premiered Adem Gunaydin’s ‘Welcome To Legend Bikes USA‘ video here on the site. Adem’s inaugural video is packed from start to finish with solid riding and jaw-dropping bangers. The video was filmed and edited by Nick Elison with additional filming provided by Chris Girouard. Adem is currently recovering from knee surgery he had earlier in the year, and we hope to see him back on his bike in 2019!

What I Ride – ‘Mad Mike’ Guth

Ride BMX has released a new installment in their “What I Ride” series showcasing ‘Mad Mike’ Guth’s GT Globetrotter / Animal Bikes build. Mike gives you a part-by-part breakdown of his ride complete with mismatched colored pedals, a bullet casing valve cap, and missing bar ends. Daily Grind: Rerouting – Jeff Purdy

Ride BMX has uploaded the final section from the Daily Grind ‘Rerouting’ video featuring Jeff Purdy on their website and YouTube channel. Jeff closes out the video with one hell of a banger but not before laying down four minutes of mind-melting riding. You’re not going to want to pass this one by.

Daily Grind: Rerouting – Dan Conway

For those of you that haven’t seen the Daily Grind’s latest DVD ‘Rerouting’, Ride BMX has been exclusively uploading sections from the video through their website and YouTube channel. For those of you that have seen the video, it’s well worth a second watch.

Dan Conway’s section dropped online yesterday and it’s packed with everything you’ve come to expect from Dan; heavy grinds, big ledges, even bigger rails, and a ton of hammers. Click play and get amped to go jump on some rails!

Cameron Girvin 2018 Video

Cameron Girvin has been hard at work the past few months filming for his latest edit which went live on the Ride BMX website today at 1 pm. The video was filmed entirely in the streets of Pittsburgh, and despite some delays with the video going live, the wait was worthwhile. Uncovered BMX Stop One

The first stop of the ‘Uncovered BMX’ contest series took place on Saturday, January 20th, at the Charm City Skatepark Mason Dixon location in Rising Sun, Maryland. The AM-based contest, which was created by Van Homan and Brian Kachinsky, will include three stops throughout the Northeast and Midwest U.S. including a stop next month at The Wheel Mill and a final stop in March at the Four Seasons Skatepark. Congratulations to ‘Mad’ Mike Guth for taking home the win at the first stop and making Pennsylvania proud.

DIG BMX has released a new installment in their ‘In The Cut’ series from the Mason Dixon skatepark stop of the series as well as an interview with Van & Brian focused on the series conducted by Rob Dolecki. Ride BMX has also released a video showcasing a dozen bangers from the Mason Dixon stop of the series. You can watch both videos after the jump.

Daily Grind – Rerouting

Ride BMX has released an in-depth featured article on their website focused on the Daily Grind. The feature titled ‘Rerouting’ comes along with the announcement of the DG’s upcoming third DVD release of the same name. The article includes an introduction to the DG crew accompanied by photography shot during filming for the DVD by Gremlin, Troy Merkle, Brendan Mulrooney, Noah Huntzinger, and Devon Denham. Tristan Afre’s Top 10 Favorite Photos Of 2017

Tristan Afre has a gallery of photos on the Ride BMX website showcasing his ‘Top 10 Favorite Photos Of 2017’. Tristan, better known as Gutstains, made his way through Philadelphia earlier this year as a result of circumstances detailed in his recent ‘Stranded In Philadelphia’ photo gallery that ran back in September. Some of the photos shot during that time in Philadelphia were included in Tristan’s list of favorites from this past year including the above shot of Justin Benthien. Dan Conway – GT BMX “Seriously Fun”

Sections from GT’s “Seriously Fun” video have been dropping all week exclusively through the Ride BMX website. Dan Conway’s section was released online today which closes out the video and with good reason. Dan’s section is full of big moves but the last clip is sure to have you pressing rewind. You can also check out Dan’s Team Line series of GT completes which are available now after the video ends.

Chocolate Truck At Paines Park

The Chocolate Truck crew have released a new edit online through the Ride BMX website which features a handful of the squad linking up at Paines Park in Philadelphia for a late night session. Evan Yoh was on hand to capture the session and also handled the videos editing which includes riding from Joby Suender, Steve Tassone, Herman McCracken, Jon Schimpf, Joe & Ryan Niranonta along with Nick Barrett who is back in Philadelphia after spending a few months in the Southwest.

Last month, word trickled down the grapevine that Gutstains was in the greater Philadelphia area. If you paid attention, a couple of photos taken by Gutstains turned up on Instagram and he could also be spotted in John Yoh’s first Animal Bikes edit that dropped earlier this month. Ride BMX has a gallery of photos that chronicle Gutstains month long impromptu trip to the City of Brotherly Love accompanied by some written word.
